Squealing with delight…although it may not conjure up the most delightful image, you certainly can identify when it is happening as a squeal is so clearly a squeal – not a chuckle, chortle, giggle, shriek or guffaw. A squeal is that noise – most closely affiliated with the sound a pig makes – that is emitted when the excitement…the thrill…the sheer glee of a moment is captured in one solitary vocal effort that has the power at the right decibels to shatter glass.
You really have to know a person well to understand how to elicit a squeal from them. Squeals are, by their very nature, an unplanned response that results from sheer emotion. So to get me to squeal you have to know the exact button to push to take all the words away and to elicit a grand emotional response.
Fox network knows the exact button…Fox network got me to squeal. Shocking I know. I suppose you thought that if any network was going to be able to identify and overstimulate my buttons it wasn’t going to be Fox – maybe CNN, HBO or HGTV – but never Fox. Perhaps that made the squeal that much more gratifying.
And the button that Fox network pushed with aplomb…well, it married two of my favorite things – Glee and The Rocky Horror Picture Show for its Halloween episode airing tonight. My two greatest guilty pleasures combined could elicit nothing less than such a squeal.
So put away the stemware and keep your windows closed West Fargo-ites as tonight I will be watching the Glee Halloween episode and if the squeal I emitted just hearing about the episode is any indication of what is to come, then Fox just found a way to hot-wire my squeal and glass within a four block radius isn’t safe. 😉

I like it when I can get a snort from a lady when trying to amuse her. Then I know i am hitting the right buttons.

I was so bummed last week when the episode was a rerun. But it was worth waiting for the Rocky Horror Glee Show! It was good, huh?
