Oh my…my favorite marketing maven is at it again.  Yes, indeed…it’s Fifi… the woman who can sell everything from pasties to thong underwear in an email subject line in a way that compels you to look.  Fifi’s newest pitch involves hypnosis – which even for Fifi is a stretch.  Hypnosis takes training and skill – I’ve seen it in movies and in variety shows – it is not just the average parlor trick.  Hypnotists can get their subjects to do all kinds of crazy things with the power of suggestion and therapists use hypnosis as an effective treatment tool.   From everything I know of hypnosis, it is not for the casual user…yet, there goes Fifi suggesting that you can “Hypnotize Him With Your BOOBIES!” for a mere $19.99.  Imagine that.  No, really – imagine that.

Take a moment and think about what you expect to see when you click on the link in the email.  Many times when we see hypnotists work they utilize a shiny watch on a chain to focus their subject’s attention.  I was half expecting to see some contraption that had a dangling watch that moved methodically back and forth.  Yeah…that wasn’t it.  Here is how the hypnotic process is conducted with a bra – the hypnotica bra.  Per Fifi, the hypnotica bra allows you to “put focus on your beautiful bustline like never before.” The hypnotica bra does this with “firm, underwired, molded foam push-up cups” covered in satin for the purposes of pushing the breasts “way up” to enhance them and make them  “appear larger”.

Okay Fifi – you are likely correct about the bra having a hypnotic effect – especially if it produces the look on all women that the model portrays.  The thing is, that hypnotic effect has been happening for centuries and the hypnosis part really doesn’t take too special a bra – anything that packs a gal’s breasts in high and tight and creates a deep cleavage valley is likely to put some folks in a trance.  In my decades on the planet I have seen entire conversations take place between a woman and an entranced man – sometimes the man never even raises his eyes he is so fixated on her hypnotic breast power.

Yet, even having said the above – touché to you Fifi – you made me look again and I am pretty sure that the hypnotica bra will, as you predict, make men look as well.  And perhaps it will even hypnotize them…but I don’t think that its going to make them very sleepy. 😉
