Breathtaking!

There are winter days in North Dakota that are nothing short of breathtaking (often still bone-chillingly cold – but breathtaking).  Tuesday morning was one of those days with the frost on the trees.  The images just made me happy and for a moment I loved winter.

I took a few photos on my way to work.  The tree with the sun behind it is in my neighbor’s yard.  The trees on both sides of the street are the trees that line the street with the little square houses (I took the photos through my windshield).  The final photo was taken on NDSU’s campus.

If only Mother Nature could give us frosted trees once a week I think I could agree to go through winter without complaining. Let’s see if she can handle her end of that bargain…some frost on the trees on a weekly basis seems like a small cost pay to keep a lid on my griping. 😉

Day five hundred and twenty-one of the new forty – obla di obla da
