Oh my…I am not as young as I think I am. Apparently, partying like it’s 1999 should have been left in 1999. Who knew that age would slow me down so? Damn…I hate that.
Yet, partying like it is 2010 is not without it’s delights. We (the collective crew that I have the delight of visiting with and hanging out with at the conference) may be aging as demographic, but I have to say the will to enjoy life is still strong. I am not sure that we have necessarily acquired the requisite wisdom to ensure that our enjoyment does not result in breaking a hip or putting a back out…I personally am blocking the notion that I have any physical limitations to deal with.
So, for my last full day in San Antonio you can bet I’ll be partying it up alright…like it is 2010…and because I am a professional invested in sound risk management I will bring along some cute and incredibly able firefighter/EMT folks who can aid me should I incur any injuries during the course of my merriment. Hey, maybe I am getting wiser as I get older. 😉
