Mae West was known to say, “So many men, so little time.” Yes indeed Mae – I hear ya’ on that front.
I have a number of new men in my life and although my time is limited I feel obliged to squeeze them all in. There is Rex and Chad and Ralph and Tom – to name my current favorites…and I can tell you right now that I intend to squeeze in a few more over the next month or so…the more the merrier.
It hasn’t always been this way. It is true that I cannot say that I have ever truly known a famine (although there was that one period many years ago when I was on a self-imposed man diet and was sure that I would be re-certified as a virgin by the Pope), but it is a bit of an anomaly for me to be knee deep in men. I have been fortunate though to have plenty of options to choose from over the years – but their entrances and exits have been staggered not simultaneous. But now, my life is filled with all these new and exciting men who are invested in helping me – it’s getting hard to keep them straight – and it is almost impossible to get eight hours sleep anymore.
Yep, so many men and so little time…insurance adjusters, water specialists, construction folks…yes indeed Mae, I hear ya’. 😉
Day four hundred and fifty-three of the new forty – obla di obla da

Reminds me of an episode from the Britcom _To the Manor Born_ when loneliness moves a woman to have kitchen cabinet makers and window replacement folks and other home improvement people in to measure and make estimates.
