On Tuesday, my brother, sister-in-law and I trekked all the way down to Los Angeles County to visit Venice Beach – a beach that is infamous for being colorful and eccentric.

Today instead of spending a lot of time talking about Venice Beach I offer a picture book of sorts – random snippets of Venice Beach through my born-again tourist eyes and my somewhat peculiar focus.   I didn’t take too many photos there – but I share with you enough to give you a flavor of the mix between beauty and absurdity.
