Yesterday evening I went to see Lewis Black’s show at the Fargo Theater and I literally laughed until I cried.  He is, far and away, my favorite contemporary comic.  If you have seen or heard Black’s shows you know that he is quite the cusser…but not a single "F" word is used in vain – each and every one of them is perfectly placed for emphasis.

Lewis Black has a knack for making non-partisan commentaries (he is equally disgusted with both parties) on the absurdities in the world.  Last night he tackled everything from Valentine’s Day to the legalization of marijuana and through it all the audeience was laughing until they cried.  He has a way of bringing to light the insanity and stupidity behind so many things and when he punctuates it with his over-the-top angst and a slew of cuss words it just brings down the house.

What can I say, I am a fan.  He is truly the thinking woman’s/man’s comic.  If you have not had the pleasure of seeing his work before, please visit the sites below…but be advised…there will definitely be cussing…but as I said above – every single word is perfectly placed for emphasis. 😉
