Still on my wabi sabi mode out here in Emmitsburg.  Today I had meetings and visits all day with a bunch of different folks.  What a joyful day it has been.  I got to see a lot of folks that I only get to visit with a few times a year and it was nice – real nice. 

Indeed, my day started out spectacularly at breakfast with cheese blintzes (they are served every Wednesday at the National Emergency Training Center’s cafeteria and they are REALLY yummy!)…I wabi sabi’d my diet…I walked around the table a few times with my plate of blintzes before I sat down so I am sure I worked off the excess calories before I even consumed them.

Now it is off to dinner and then to watch karaoke (Wednesdays are karaoke night here and it is always great fun to watch).  I don’t sing, but as I have said before I am a great karaoke supporter!  I will hoot, holler and cheer for all the brave souls that get up there and entertain the rest of us sissies who dare not.  No doubt it will be a fab time…plus, it is St. Patty’s Day…can life get any better?  Yes, I know…you are "green" with envy. 😉
