7:30 AM…a fine time for breakfast at home.
7:30 AM…really early for breakfast out with people in a business framework.
Not that I arrived at 7:30 AM.
I arrived at 7:45, but still…note, I was not only outside the house, but all the way over in Moorhead at 7:45 AM.
If you know me, you know that is something.
I am not what you would call a morning person.
I rise early – typically somewhere in the 5 AM hour – but then I have to humanize myself by sitting alone and drinking coffee and then undertake a process to look human.
Even after all that, my brain’s "on" switch doesn’t even really flip on until at least 9 AM.
So, 7:30 AM in Moorhead – that’s an undertaking.
Especially when, for some God forsaken reason, I woke up late…not my normal 5 ish hour, but 6:30 AM.
6:30 AM!!
I was supposed to be in Moorhead at 7:30 AM and I woke up at 6:30 AM.
Can you imagine my angst?
I really need at least a couple hours to go through the required process.
I didn’t get it…the couple hours that is.
I only got one cup of coffee before I left the house and it had to be gulped – not savored.
Gulped!!
I saw no coffee at the breakfast…but darn it they had sausage, hash browns and a muffin…three strikes on my permanent diet record…they may lock me up for life.
I think I started the day on the wrong foot…at 6:30!!…and left the house before it was time and before I was primed.
It resulted in fragmented thoughts.
All day.
All fragmented.
Tomorrow is a new day.
Having breakfast at home…at 7:30 AM.
Coffee will be savored…brain will be good to go at 9 AM.
See you then.
Day two hundred and forty-seven of the new forty – obla di obla da

You probably didn’t have time to floss either.
That was probably a good thing!
