Just a couple of things to share this Saturday eve:

First of all, thank you to all the folks who have expressed concern about my health. The good news is that it has improved dramatically.  I was able to get eight un-interrupted hours of sleep last night (not a single coughing episode!) and that helped a lot.  I actually think I am back to about 75% of normal (with normal being a relative term).

Unfortunately, Cheyenne has had a nasty sore throat all day and that is how my illness began.   I am hoping that she does not get what I had and if she does, I hope her system is better able to kick it than mine was.

Second and more troubling, I wanted to disclose here on my blog news that will likely break on other media outlets tomorrow.  I thought you should hear it from me first.  My daughter, Sarah, committed a fashion crime today. As you can see from the photo below it was a felony (be warned that the photo is startling).  She went out and about in this abomination with no regard for the damage it would cause others.

I did not raise her like this.  I taught her the difference between fashion wrong and right, but clearly she has gone awry – terribly awry.  Even worse than the crime itself is her complete lack of remorse and her startling influence on her sister.  You may read reports in the media that she was the product of a dysfunctional fashion home, that her family didn’t love and accept her so she felt a need to act out, or that she always felt like a black sheep – disregard these reports.  The truth is she has no fashion conscious.  I suspect there will be a hefty penalty for this offense, she will have to pay her debt to society.  Community service is in order.
