Trolley Toils

Due to Carol’s lack of patience and pure frustration with recent events involving her toils with the trolley system in Florida, she has invited me to entertain you as a guest writer. Please bear with me as I have never blogged and find it quite amusing.
In an effort to take Carol’s mind off recent trolley trials and tribulations, I dragged her to the Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum to look at oddities—not us in the mirror, other stuff. So there we were in the museum, laughing and ogling at the obscurities on display. There were so many interesting displays; however, a few in particular caught our interest and we added our own captions. The first picture is what Carol probably would have liked to have done after the first trolley driver took a break as we sat on the bench. Not to be outdone, she filled out a comment card. In Carol’s mind, he should have been tortured like this person.

Not to be outdone on the second day of trolley toils we decided to go on another trolley excursion. We sat and waited 45 minutes and no trolley was in sight. Our outing had been foiled by the trolley a mere 17 hours after the first incident. No comment card in sight, this is what Carol probably would have imagined as retribution for the driver that never showed up.

Alas, here is a picture of Carol at the trolley stop after our successful endeavor at the museum.

Enjoy all—she’s back in Fargo tomorrow to continue her journeys with you! Me, I’ll be in Florida until Thursday—maybe trying my luck with the trolley for my own excursion.
Mary, It seems to me that you have a sense of humor and should start your own blog too! Great guest blog! 🙂

Many thanks to Mary for being my first guest blogger and sharing the joy the trolley brought into our world!
Next year we will be in San Antonio – I wonder…do they have a trolley? 🙂
